sunny sundays are here again

and i wanted to take full advantage of the sun showers we were blessed to receive this weekend. this sunday a friend and i went to henry public (329 henry street between atlantic and pacific avenues) for some brunch. for those of you who know me well, you know that i had a short-lived barbacking gig at henry public. i cant say more good things about this place. really nice atmosphere, great employees, and great food. the drinks can sometimes be a little up there in price, but who cares? lets keep the good times rolling, people.


6 point ale, water, double vanilla soy latte, bloody henry. gotta start the meals off right, son.


the FOOD! on my side, we have grilled cheese with eggs and sliced apples (you have to try it, my friends. on her end, grilled cheese and fries. we destroyed.

i try not to talk trash often. this sunday, the ale must have activated my shit talking abilities. i bragged about how i would hand my lady friends' ass to her. she happened to have a deck of cards on hand.


this was the scene the entire time. either we matched or i lost. its okay, i'll always have victory in jenga.

but yeah guys, henry public. check it out sometimes on a really sunny day. your day just might get even brighter.
